Description

Integrated EH-P/15/xx.xx security controllers

The EH-P/15/xx.xx series of integrated protection controllers is designed to protect one or two outlets of electrical power equipment. The components are fully configurable, with the method of controlling the outputs (depending on the status of the inputs and measuring circuits) determined by the control program.

The configuration of components is performed using dedicated software, which allows the dependencies between individual measuring elements, inputs, and outputs to be defined using a ladder diagram. Each controller is equipped with an extensive internal self-monitoring system that detects potential faults and irregularities in the operation of the component.

Zintegrowany sterownik zabezpieczeń typu EH-P/15/01.01 jest wielofunkcyjnym zabezpieczeniem służące do ochrony jednego odpływu urządzenia elektroenergetycznego. W skład podzespołu wchodzą następujące bloki:

  • dwa uniwersalne człony pomiarowe mogące pracować jako człony sterownicze lub kontroli ciągłości uziemienia,

Description:

The EH-P/15/01.03 integrated protection controller is a multifunctional protection device used
to protect two outlets of an electrical power device. The component consists of the following blocks:

  • two universal measuring elements that can operate as thermal leakage blocking elements,
  • four universal measuring elements that can operate as control elements or earth continuity control elements,
  • central leakage blocking element,
  • two overcurrent elements,
  • binary input block,
  • binary output block,
  • voltmeter block
  • data transmission block: 2x RS-485 (1 intrinsically safe), 1x CAN, 1x USB

The EH-P/15/01.03 integrated security controller is housed in a stainless steel enclosure. All circuits are connected via detachable connectors located on the sides of the enclosure. The front of the enclosure features a keypad and LCD display.

Device characteristics

Description:

The EH-P/15/02.01 integrated safety controller is a technological advancement of the EH-P/15/01.xx series of safety devices
EH-P/15/01.xx series and has a similar programmable logic system enabling the implementation of field automation. It is equipped with a detachable connection plate for easy distribution of the electrical harness, as well as built-in memory for automatic restoration of object settings.

The integrated EH-P/15/02.01 protection controller integrates the following protections within a single device:

  • short-circuit protection,
  • overload protection,
  • power supply asymmetry protection,
  • under-current protection,
  • overvoltage and undervoltage protection,
  • leakage protection,
  • thermal protection,
  • circuit continuity control system.

The subassembly consists of the following blocks:

  • two overcurrent elements which, together with two voltage measurement inputs, enable power and energy measurement,
  • eight universal intrinsically safe thermal-blocking elements, with blocking elements operating as independent inputs or in parallel connection,
  • five universal intrinsically safe measuring elements, each of which can operate as a control element or earth continuity check,
  • 19 binary inputs,
  • 4 keyboard inputs that can be configured as universal binary inputs,
  • 8 normally constructed relay outputs,
  • 3 intrinsically safe relay outputs,
  • 8 voltage binary outputs (24 V / high impedance),
  • two intrinsically safe PT100 temperature measurement channels,
  • a digital bus allowing for the configuration of up to 16 additional temperature sensors,
  • OLED display and keyboard controlled from the front panel or via the connection board inputs,
  • communication bus: 2x RS-485 (including 1 intrinsically safe), 2x CAN, 1x USB,
  • microSD card reader.

The device controls the object using an algorithm implemented by the manufacturer and prepared in accordance with the object’s requirements. By monitoring the status of inputs, mathematical models, and previous output states, the security system develops output states. The controller allows the control program to use information collected via communication interfaces (DI, DO, AI, AO). The programmable logic uses ladder language elements: NO contacts, NC contacts, coils (set, reset, flip-flop), 8 counters, up to 128 timers, and up to 128 markers.

It is possible to build a complete control system by connecting multiple integrated security controllers, analog or digital input/output modules, separators, and displays showing the operating parameters of the controlled device into a network.
