The transformer set for voltage up to 1.1 kV is an electrical device designed to supply, connect and control electric drives of machines and devices. The device can be installed in underground mining excavations of non-methane and methane mines. The design of the device was developed in accordance with the requirements of Directive 2014/34/EU (ATEX).

The applied electrical protections and the adopted control and cooperation system with technological interlocks using intrinsically safe circuits allow for safe cooperation with devices powering mining machines. The device is adapted to connect a data transmission system enabling reading of technological information and its transmission to the mine surface (e.g. to the dispatcher).
