The converter, with a voltage of up to 1.14kV, is an electrical device designed for the connection and control of electrical drives of mining machines and equipment, allowing stepless adjustment of the motor speed.
The device can be installed in underground mine workings of non-methane and methane mines.
The design of the device has been developed
in accordance with the requirements of Directive 2014/34/EU (ATEX). The applied electroenergetic protection and the adopted system of control and cooperation with interlocks
technological interlocks with the use of intrinsically safe circuits, allow for safe cooperation with equipment supplying mining machinery.
The frequency converter is designed for autonomous operation and in a group of converters, in which each converter (drive) can operate independently and in MASTER-SLAVE mode. The device is adapted to be connected to a data transmission system
data transmission system enabling control, reading of technological information and its transfer to the mine surface (e.g. to the dispatcher).
