DESCRIPTION
CHARACTERISTIC FEATURES
The EH-P/03/04.01 temperature measurement module is a device designed for use outside explosion hazard zones and has intrinsically safe input circuits for group I, category M1, and group II, category 1, with safety level “ia.” The EH-P/03/04.01 temperature measurement module is designed to measure the temperature from PT100 sensors connected to its inputs.
The measured values are available on the non-spark-proof side via a serial interface compliant with the CAN or RS-485 standard. The module is housed in a plastic enclosure with a 35 mm DIN rail mounting. External circuits are connected via detachable connectors and an edge connector.
CONSTRUCTION, ASSEMBLY AND COMMISSIONING
The EH-P/03/04.01 temperature measurement module is enclosed in a plastic housing made of plastic. In the lower part of the housing there is an edge socket through which power and data transmission circuits are supplied to the system. On the side of the housing there are connectors A, B, I, K supplying signals from intrinsically safe temperature sensors to the module’s measurement inputs.
The EH-P/03/04.01 temperature measurement module should be installed by qualified personnel in accordance with the technical documentation and applicable regulations.
