The transformer unit for voltages up to 6kV is an electrical device designed to supply, connect and control electrical drives of machinery and equipment. The unit can be installed in underground mine workings of non-methane and methane mines. The design of the unit has been developed in accordance with the requirements of Directive 2014/34/EU (ATEX).
The applied electroenergetic protections and the adopted system of control and cooperation with technological interlocks using intrinsically safe circuits allow safe cooperation with equipment supplying mining machinery. The device is adapted to connect a data transmission system enabling the reading of technological information and its transmission to the mine surface (e.g. to the dispatcher).
