DESCRIPTION

The vacuum contactor type EH-P/18/12.01 is a shunting switch designed for use in harsh environments. Three vacuum chambers controlled by an electromagnetic drive provide a high switching frequency in the operating category AC1-AC4.

The base of the contactor body and mounting are side walls with M6 mounting holes. The isolating baffles used separate the main circuits of the individual phases (including vacuum chambers) and the control circuits and auxiliary contacts from the main circuits. The yoke (jumper) of the electromagnet coupled to the top cover causes the vacuum chambers and auxiliary contacts to close and open.

The vacuum chambers (non-moving contacts) with their inlet terminals are fixed to the housing on one side. Outlet connections are also fixed to the housing, connected to the movable contacts by flexible connections. Disconnection of the vacuum chamber contacts (in the de-energised state of the contactor’s electromagnet) is ensured by a breaking spring based on the contactor coil core design. The main circuit connection terminals are fitted with M6 screws to allow the connection of suitable lipped wires or rails.

The switching on and off of the EH-P/18/12.01 contactor is carried out by a solenoid drive with two coils. The vacuum contactor is supplied with 230V AC.
